「開會開了兩個小時」── 職場英文從這裡開始
今天的會議開了整整兩個小時。

翻譯：The meeting took as long as two hours.
"took" 是表達「花了多少時間」最基本的動詞。
"The meeting took two hours" ── 會議花了兩個小時。
加上 "as long as" 就帶出「居然、竟然」的語氣。
「開了兩個小時『之久』」── 那種不滿或驚訝的感覺就出來了。
類似的表達還有 "lasted"：
"The meeting lasted two hours." ── 會議持續了兩個小時。
